Pavilion· Copenhagen, Denmark
The Fritz Hansen Pavilion was designed by Henning Larsen Architects for the Danish furniture brand Fritz Hansen to celebrate the company’s 150-year anniversary during the 3daysofdesign festival in Copenhagen.
Located in the garden of Designmuseum Danmark, the pavilion was conceived as a lightweight wooden structure inspired by the surrounding historic courtyard buildings. The design emphasizes daylight, natural materials and a close relationship between interior and exterior space.
The pavilion was designed using circular design principles, allowing the structure to be disassembled and reused after the event. It served as an exhibition and gathering space for furniture presentations, talks and workshops during the design festival.
