Created for 3daysofdesign, the Iittala Aalto 90 Pavilion transforms Alvar Aalto’s iconic vase into a monumental architectural installation at Ofelia Plads in Copenhagen. Designed by TABLEAU CPH for Iittala, the temporary pavilion explores the relationship between architecture, materiality and Scandinavian design.  

Constructed in low-carbon aluminium in collaboration with Hydro, the pavilion creates an immersive spatial experience inspired by one of the most recognisable objects in Nordic design history.  

This architectural photography documents the temporary structure, its sculptural form and its interaction with the Copenhagen waterfront, capturing the dialogue between architecture, public space and contemporary design.
